. Public Information Officers work with reporters to provide timely and accurate information. Whether serving as a spokesperson on an issue or coordinating contact with a subject matter expert within the CPW, the job of Public Information Officers is to educate the public through working with the media. The CPW believes that the more the public understands its wildlife, the more the public will be able to enjoy it and protect it for future generations.
